Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope this message finds you and your families well and in the best of health.
Blaxcell Street Public School will undertake a managed return of students from Monday 11 May 2020. This is a phased operating model for NSW schools during COVID-19. Further information from the NSW Department of Education is available here:
From Monday 11 May, students will learn at school for one (1) day a week. They will continue to learn from home during the other four (4) days. The specific days at school for each grade are:
- Monday: Kindergarten
- Tuesday: Year 1 and Year 2
- Wednesday: Year 3 and Year 5
- Thursday: Year 4 and Year 6
- Friday: Learning from Home for all grades
Please see the attached brochure which outlines the specific day your child attends school.
Important reminders for students:
- Bring your school bag with your learning equipment
- Bring your Learning from Home pack
- When you arrive at school, move through to the Junior Basketball Area (students only area)
- The canteen will be open
Important reminders for parents:
- Please follow social distancing guidelines
- Please remain in the Kindergarten and COLA section of the playground
- Please limit your time on school grounds - drop and go; and pick up and go
- Please do not gather with other parents when dropping off or picking up your child
